Meet Our Counselors

Ellen Larabee MA, LPCC-S
Owner and Counselor
My therapy style is empathetic, insightful, reflective, humorous and goal-affirming. "I have always had a "quirky" sense of humor and I love that I can bring that into session with me. Sometimes being able to laugh or to see the absurdity of life shakes loose the obstacles and anxiety. I use elements from mindfulness, family systems and clinical hypnotherapy. My initial goal is to connect with you and your experiences in your world, ask questions, provide feedback, and use interventions to rebuild and reinforce your sense of self and your place in the universe."

I use a range of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I see clients who are experiencing difficult life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and relationship difficulties. I love being a therapist because I am able to help support individuals on their journey toward their own life goals."

Kelsey Hampton, M.Ed., LPCC
Counselor
My therapy style is authentic, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Systemic Therapy, while tailoring my approach to each individual client—because I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, and I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, those in nontraditional relationships, and people involved in alternative lifestyles. My favorite part of being a therapist is getting to connect with people from all walks of life. I find deep fulfillment in helping my clients move toward greater happiness and self-understanding. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and validated, while providing the encouragement and support they need to make positive, lasting change.

Julie Dibble MS, LPC, ADHD - PT
Counselor
Hi, I’m Jules. I’m a counselor at Presence of Mind with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and I’m really glad you’re here! I work with children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck; especially those navigating ADHD, emotional ups and downs, or patterns like people-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and able to be yourself without judgment. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), nervous system education, and practical coping strategies you can actually use in everyday life. I also help you understand how your body responds to stress so you can feel more in control rather than constantly reacting. In our work together, you can expect patience, honesty, and genuine support. I’ll meet you where you are, while also gently helping you move toward where you want to be. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you understand yourself, build confidence, and feel steadier in your day-to-day life. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay. We’ll figure it out together.
